Is this safe for sensitive or eczema-prone skin?
DEVA products are crafted without synthetic fragrances or dyes and are tallow-forward or plant-butter–rich, focusing on supporting your natural skin barrier, which makes them a gentle option for many sensitive or eczema-prone skin types. Please patch-test on a small area first and check with your clinician for active eczema or other medical skin conditions.

How long will this jar/bar last?
Because DEVA formulas are rich and concentrated—whether tallow-based or plant-butter–based—a little goes a long way; with daily use on hands and dry spots, most people find a jar or bar lasts several weeks, and full-body daily use will use it up more quickly.

Can I use this on both my face and body?
Most DEVA butters and bars, whether made with tallow or plant butters, are designed to be versatile and can be enjoyed on both face and body; if your skin is very oily or breakout-prone, start with a tiny amount on a small area and see how your skin responds.

Will this feel greasy on my skin?
DEVA is formulated “for your skin, not the washcloth,” so our tallow and plant-butter products are meant to melt in and create a long-lasting moisture barrier rather than evaporating like water-based lotions; apply to damp skin and massage in well to reduce any heavy feel.

Is this okay to use on kids or during pregnancy?
All DEVA products are made with simple, recognizable ingredients—whether animal-based or plant-based—but every season of life is unique; review the ingredient list, patch-test, and talk with your healthcare provider before using any essential-oil or magnesium-rich product on children or during pregnancy.

I no longer coach in a traditional way, but I still coach through my hands and my work.
